Exciting Times In Boston! (And No We’re Not Talking About Baseball)

The Quincy Center for Innovation has now officially opened!

Velesco CEO Dave Barnes recently attended the Grand Opening of the Quincy Center for Innovation as one of the keynote speakers.  Several hundred people were gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony, including city and state officials, local business owners and potential investors.  See below for links to the press coverage.

Velesco is the first life sciences tenant of the QCI, a 12,500 square foot facility located just south of Boston where Gerry Cox is leading Velesco’s business development efforts.  The move to Boston was spurred by the growth of Velesco’s early phase CMC services and a need to increase our presence in the global hub for pharma and biotech companies.

Let’s hope that’s the only exciting news to come out of Boston this week.  We still remain hopeful here in Detroit.  Go Tigers!
